Job Description

Bench technician position is being sought for a broad array of notebook/computer systems. Candidate shall have familiarity with basic computer architecture and the tools needed to repair and/or rework a broad spectrum of systems. Component-level troubleshooting experience and hands-on experience with oscilloscopes, power supplies, debug tools, cables/adapters are desired. Level3 soldering training (fine pitch) with airflow and direct soldering techniques or equivalent is highly desirable. CET (Certified Electronic Technician) is a bonus, but not required.
The candidate shall exhibit proficiency in troubleshooting and detailed documentation for an organization's process standards.
The candidate will be expected to perform BIOS updates, FW updates, driver updates, load OS images, and perform debug and repair of motherboards and other component-level tasks. The role will entail supporting both development work, as well as sustaining/quality escalations. Failure analysis experience is a bonus asset, but not required.
