As we grow rapidly, we need a Salesforce Developer who will help in development of our Salesforce solution. The Salesforce Developer will work with our internal Operations, Sales, Marketing, and Customer Services teams, as well as external partners/vendor companies, to ensure the solution stays in line with needs of the business as well as provide recommendations for continuous improvements and system efficiencies. The Salesforce Developer will be responsible for the custom coding using Apex, dataloads/integration, design roadmap, and Salesforce SDLC responsibility. This Individual will work with team of Salesforce, AWS, Database, Data Science, and third party vendors. This is primarily a development position with backup and minor work as Salesforce administrator.

 Roles and Responsibilities:

  • 5+ years direct experience with architecture components
  • Experience in depth Salesforce programming with Apex, SOSQL, VisualForce, APIs, Apex mastery is required
  • Recommend, implement, test, and deploy Apex classes and triggers
  • Controlling the adaptability of API's for integration of information and processes so data flows to 3rd party application and G/L
  • Design & implement web-based interfaces utilizing Apex code, Web Services, etc. Work with non SF developer and data team
  • Hands on knowledge to build business processes using Salesforce flows and process builder. Couple with the Training Department to deliver training and communication to business users
  • Test and QA changes to Salesforce in sandbox and production deployments
  • Salesforce Certifications (1+ required, developer certification preferred)
  • Understand and implement integration APIs to communicate with internal/external components
  • Translate technical concepts and conduct complex interpersonal interactions often involving moderately to highly complex or technical topics
  • High availability for error resolution and technical support at tier 2 and tier 3 levels
  • Ensure compliance with regulations and internal security policies

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or technical area or related work experience
  • 5+ years of Developer experience
  • Experience managing projects, timelines, people within a software or SaaS company
  • Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Experience automating workflow
  • Strong knowledge of APIs (SOAP, REST)
  • Strong commitment to system and process scalability as well as surrounding governance
  • Strong interpersonal and written communication skills
  • High motivation - will do whatever it takes to ensure customer and company success
  • Experience managing and leading Salesforce development projects and initiatives

Preferred Skill Requirements:

  • Salesforce Developer Certification is preferred
  • Apex/Visualforce development experience is preferred
  • Technical writing or professional business writing experience is preferred
