System Administrator & Developer III
Duluth, GA

Seeking an experienced professional that can play the role of business analyst, developer and administrator for our direct clients' Global CI DevOps platform. Preferred candidate should have 1-4 years of experience in development (preferred web), good testing skills with Junit, ability to drive complex projects and see them through the end; and good knowledge in database i.e. MYSQL, Oracle on multiple platforms.

Preferred Skills, Education, Experience
  • Design and develop software with high quality
  • Contribute to architectural design of new features
  • Develop new features on time and with high quality
  • Ensure compliance to IT policies/standards to design and architecture of new features
  • Site installation, configuration and administration of CI/DevOps servers.
  • Conduct training sessions on CI/DevOps workflow.
  • Database server setup and administration for E3 and Electric cloud.
  • Develop technical presentations and product demonstrations
  • Create training materials
  • Facilitate planning and assessment meetings with stakeholders
 
Functional & Technical Skills
  • Experience of full software development life cycle.
  • 1-4 years of experience in Web development (cross platform)
  • Analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to adopt and learn quickly
  • Ability to quickly adopt to changing environment
  • Excellent development skills in Java (Java SE)
  • Experience developing and testing in Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
  • Experience in HTML/JS (web development)
  • Knowledge of Eclipse, subversion
  • Knowledge of database – MYSQL, Oracle
 
Interpersonal Skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills to convey new strategies, processes/approaches to a variety of internal audiences.
  • Ability to address and resolve issues in an objective, fact-based, professional fashion.
  • Ability to inspire confidence in project sponsors, owners and participants.
 
Qualifications and Experience
  • A Bachelor's degree in computer science, software engineering, engineering, or similar.
  • 1-4 years of experience in Web development (cross platform)
  • Experience with Polarion Application Lifecycle Management or any other similar products preferred.
  • Travel 0-30% domestically and internationally
